Adding a Position
Open a portfolio and click "Add Position". Fill in:
- Symbol — The ticker symbol (e.g., AAPL, NVDA, VOO, BTC-USD)
- Shares — Number of shares or units you own (supports decimals for fractional shares)
- Average Cost — Your cost per share. If left blank, the current market price is automatically fetched and used.
Press Enter or click the confirm button to save. The position will immediately appear in your holdings list with live pricing.
Sorting Holdings
Click any column header in the holdings table to sort by that field. Available sort options include:
- Weight — Percentage of portfolio value (default, descending)
- Symbol — Alphabetical order
- Value — Current market value
- Day Change — Today's percentage change
- P/L — Unrealized profit/loss percentage
Removing a Position
Click the trash icon next to any holding to remove it. You will be asked to confirm before the position is permanently deleted.
Notes and Models
Click the notes icon on any holding to open the notes panel. You can:
- Write free-form research notes about the stock
- Attach links to financial models or spreadsheets with a title and URL
Notes are saved per symbol and persist across portfolios.
